#1033 Catalyst Plant Optimization Engineer
Requires Ch E degree & 5 - 20 years process engineering experience related to catalyst manufacturing. Must have in depth understanding of the current state of the process technology in the catalyst manufacturing industry. Requires excellent English presentation skills & the ability to work with outside contractors & multi-discipline teams to solve problems & improve the performance of catalyst manufacturing plant through the application of sound engineering principles. Must understand economic analysis & market issues as they relate to use, acquisition & development of technology. Should have knowledge of process simulation & other industrial technology tools & methods. Will create & disseminate new process technology throughout the company's world wide network of catalyst manufacturing plants & manage intellectual property obligations. Will make proactive recommendations for improving unit yields, quality, energy consumption, process safety, control & optimization of overall catalyst manufacturing technology. Will support new product development & plant implementation. Will mentor the next generation of technical professionals. Must be U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status. Large international operating company with plant position in Beaumont, TX.
